AMAZING

I think one of the most amazing things you can discover having children is seeing parts of you and your spouse in your children. Whether it be physical similarities or shared personality traits and quirks, likes and dislikes, I find it all amazing. To see parts of the person you love so deeply, embedded in the new growing life God gives us.... it seems like a transfer of one love to another. I wonder if that is what God intended when he created DNA and shared genes of the parents? Either way, I'm glad he did. I love looking at my kids, watching them grow, seeing so much of Erik in them. Max's little fingers and toes are exact mini replicas of Erik's. Quinlin loves so many things that Erik loves. Like nothing feeling more at home to them than sitting on our couch, watching a movie, and eating chips.
